We know calories count and we have you covered

Thai food, Thai cooking, Thai takeaway

We understand the demands of people to eat healthier and stay fitter and as such, we keep pushing to improve the healthiness of our offering. So if you are counting calories, we have you covered. This passion led to us being voted ‘Healthiest Takeaway in Ireland’.

We keep pushing however and we have endeavoured to reduce the sugar and salt content of our dishes, make our menu almost entirely dairy free and now we have expanded from our 6 under 600 calorie menu to have calorie counts on all of our dishes. We want to make it easy for anyone to watch their calorie intake.

We aren’t finished yet and expect to see more improvements to the menu over the coming year.

You can check out our new menu in full at www.camile.co.uk or in one of our seven restaurants.

Yes, you read that right! With our new menu, we have made wild and brown rice a default option with our curries and stir-fries. Here are some of the reasons why…

  • Wild rice is a gluten free food.
  • A serving of wild rice is lower in calories than other rice varieties, so you can enjoy it without worrying about weight gain
  • It does not contain sodium: good news for your blood pressure and your heart.
  • It is very rich in antioxidants—containing up to 30 times more than white rice! Which means regular consumption of wild rice protects you from disease and ageing.
  • Because of its high fiber content, brown and wild rice keeps your digestion smooth and helps lower cholesterol.
  • It is a good source of essential minerals such as phosphorus, zinc and folate, which give you energy and nurture your bones.
  • Vitamins A, C and E are essential for overall health and immunity.Brown and Wild rice contains these vital vitamins.
